Neon Tiger Mgmt
Kristie McCarthy is an Australian artist manager with over a decade of experience in the music industry and is the founder of Neon Tiger Mgmt, a boutique company dedicated to long-term, internationally focused artist development. She launched the company in 2026 with iconic Australian band The Cat Empire as her first signing.
Kristie began her career in marketing before moving into music at Billions Australia, working across tour logistics for major international artists. She transitioned into management in 2018 at Lemon Tree Music, where she day managed Tash Sultana, Riley Pearce, Garrett Kato and Maddy Jane, before progressing to Senior Artist Manager in 2022. In that role, she signed and developed Death by Denim and producer Andy Lawson. She later became Head of Artist Management, leading a team of nine and guiding the new era of The Cat Empire.
Kristie was nominated for Emerging Manager of the Year at the Artist Managers Association Awards (2025) and was one of only two managers selected for the AAM Export Market Development Trip to North America (2022). She was previously named in The Music Network’s 30 Under 30 (2020), has participated in key international industry programs, and regularly mentors emerging managers.
Through Neon Tiger Mgmt, Kristie champions globally focused Australian artists with a strategic, collaborative approach centred on long-term career growth and creative integrity.
